Vinçotte International India Assessment Services as Authorized Inspection Agency for the DVPL-II project of Tractebel.
The executive management of Tractebel Engineering India, a subsidiary of the well-known engineering company member of the GDF SUEZ Group, has decided to entrust Vinçotte International India Assessment Services with the site inspection activities related to the construction of the new high pressure natural gas pipeline between Dahej and Vijaipur (India). This 610 km long 48" pipeline will be ownership of GAIL (India) Limited, a leading gas transportation company in India operating more than 4500 km of pipeline network and gas processing plants. This assignment will require Vinçotte to monitor the laying of the pipeline on site, including the review of fieldwork procedures, the qualification of welding procedures, the visual inspection, the supervision of welding and non destructive testing, ... This strategic project, which constitutes an important step in the development of Vinçotte's inspection activities in India, was entrusted to Vinçotte International India Assessment Services on the basis of the very wide experience of its sister company AIB-Vinçotte International in the field of pipeline inspection.
